Friday Nights and tall Grains

ZIPP ZIPP ZAP

ZOOM ZOOM ZOOP

After racing on Friday I broke out the pushed film for some big grains of big gears.

PATOOTS

ARE NOT THEY JUST SO CUTE

Maybe the cutest portrait I’ve ever taken? Maybe? You might know them? Corey and Kati.

PROCESS

I will take the dust off this one when I finally get around to making my ‘portfolio’ section. I need some databases first.

Anyways, Brendon and I played around with the new flash a little. Any other takers?

SO DETAILING

A test shot. Many many more to come. I’m pretty excited. And this test is on the film, which makes it way more rad.

FLASH DONUT

CAVE INS

OKAY. SO. I gave up on the DIY ring-light. Not because it wasn’t… working.. but because it was being too much of a hassle getting just right. So I bought a ring flash. Well. I ring strobe really. There are a number of benefits of such an endeavour. First and foremost, even, predictable, non-battery requiring, powerful light. I can go on and on, but the one real downside was the, errrr, price. I mean, investments right? That said…. anyone want holiday time portraits? get at me! or more specifically, hire me!

Anyways, I apparently ran out of instant film, so I used Nate’s digital camera to satiate my need to use a new toy, errr, tool right away. So here is also a picture of Nate! Film photos as soon as I get some more okay? okay.
