A bunch of numbers of things. I need to go work on homework for a couple hours now. And after that I think I might play around with some instant-prints and the umbrellas Hoops hooked me up with. I want to shoot a picture of Maggie.

I’m on Facebook chat with one of my best friends ever Ian Fenwick, discussing coffee, bicycles, tattoos, trips to Montreal and jobs. And I reminded myself that in April, I’ll have been working two jobs (both, delivering things on my bike) for an entire year. And I guess that is why I went and dug out this photo, taken last September I think? Marking the last time I was able to get away from working and other responsibilities for an entire weekend. It’s really making me look forward to the three weeks I have booked of in June. And my plans include basically what Ian and I are still chatting about on Facebook: coffee, bikes, skateboarding, pals and a trip to Montreal.
It is however unfortunately reminding me of the amount of homework I have to do in a subject that is rather unfamiliar to me. I am basically splashing around a design-based-science-credit class to fulfill my graduation requirements, and finally get a sweet piece of fancy paper with my name on it. Soon after, GLORY.
Oh, and speaking of lurking on Facebook, I found Dylan Doubt’s Tumblr in my newsfeed, and was quite glad to peruse some of his offerings. I’ve always enjoyed Doubt’s photography from inside skate magazines, and he is quite the gentleman to ride a bike or skateboards with.

And Newf actually letting ‘er rip.
I am currently procrastinating ‘like woah’.

I’m super behind on scanning, and printing, and a lot of other things that are pretty important to me. Schoolwork is both in this category, and also the perpetrator of being behind. I am however feeling really good on the bike lately, and am getting more and more excited about the idea of getting back on my skateboard. It’s been three weeks since I’ve had a session of any length, and I twisted my ankle pretty good during that session. But I’ve been lurking lots of photos and videos whenever I’m allowed to the chance to slow down and do nothing for a moment, and getting stoked.
In other news, related to the bike, and skateboard: I’ve booked my time off for the summer and I’ll be in Ontario between June 5-25th, with both skate and bike. Sometime within that, I’ll be doing a ride between Newmarket and Montreal, with the goal of skating the Big-O, and riding my bike into the town I spent the first nine years of my life. I’m starting to plan my route a little more seriously now that I’ve a definite block of calender attached to the cause.
Oh, and hey, I’ll have some camera supplies with me, and chances are if you live in Newmarket/Toronto area and are reading this, you’re close to me, and I’d like to shoot your portrait. I would like to believe I am significantly better at doing such things than the last time I was home and tried this. GET STOKED?

Hari, of HariLegs. Who is playing tonight at Alf House tonight? But Hari is in Mexico? I think, I don’t know. But there is a party I guess? WOOO.
More photos of this show from the Redgate over the next couple days.

Thanks again Trackosaurus for pointing me in this direction.
I wish that cycling had this much hype/culture to it here in Canada.. Or that I could at least afford the insurance for the track (though next party paycheck it is happening). And also, word on the street is…. my track frame may be ready in as little as two weeks! SO STOKED. Though I do need cranks…
