Seriously, I need to get to Burnside.

I really like when I get the whole band in one shot. My ears are still ringing from this show. I maybe should get ear plugs?
Oh, and here is a photo of The Coach bombing Queen E hill during the ‘Look Ma No Brakes’ race put on by SuperChampion and RedBull THREE YEARS AGO. I only find the time difference so radical, because during my first summer I hardly knew anyone besides Camilo. Also, it goes to show how behind I am on scanning. If only I had one of these and I could batch scan, and do it at home listening to records and drinking sweet sweet coffees. Anyways, that photo of Coach!

Hugues slashin’ last Wednesday at Kensignton. WHICH may be the last good session for a bit considering how the weather is looking. I am holed up in the computer lab at my school on well located downtime at work today. I’m pretty stoked about nerdin’ it in here because I definitely neglected to check the weather report this morning, and I definitely thought I could get by without rain gear. What a stupid oversight that was.
Here’s the alt-angle of Hugues slash over the deathbox, which might actually be the ‘better’ shot, but I think I like the first one better.

And there goes the pager, back at ‘er I guess.

I bought two new records today. Firstly Thelonious Monk with John Coltrane. Listening to it as I strike these keys, stoked is sufficient. Secondly Cat Power’s (apparently) first record -at least on the Matador label- What Would the Community Think? I want to have a better listen than was afforded between a Leeside mission and hustling pizza off in the West-End, this will probably happen tomorrow or Tuesday depending on when I get off work and the weather. I am trying to get into the habit of properly considering music. It’s really difficult to get the time mostly. Anyways. Congress is playing on Thursday, so get on down to the Waldorf and buy me a drink? I’m going to spend all money on film and shoot the set.

SBC put up a video from the Halloween Leeside Jam. Of note, my friend Jeremie who recently returned to France (like two days after this video, the Monday after Halloween) killing it with various gap to wallride maneuvers. And if you pay VERY close attention, I am the Luigi figure lurking at .30 seconds in, and colliding with Elmo at the end of the song.
